D. Scott Moore

Scott is an Owner of The Rainmaker Companies and a recognized leader in professional services growth strategy, business development, and marketing. Over a career spanning more than 35 years, Scott has helped professional services firms strengthen market positioning, build sustainable business development processes, and accelerate organic growth through strategic leadership, coaching, and talent development.

Before joining The Rainmaker Companies, Scott served as Chief Marketing Officer for a Top 20 U.S. accounting firm, where he led integrated marketing and business development initiatives that contributed to a twelve-fold increase in firm revenue over a 14-year period. He is a past President of the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM), has been recognized by Accounting Today as one of the accounting profession’s most influential leaders, and was inducted into the Accounting Marketing Hall of Fame in 2019.

Today, Scott works with firms across the country to help leaders and growth-oriented professionals enhance business development performance, strengthen client relationships, and create scalable strategies that support long-term growth and profitability.
