Kent brings his passion and experience to The Rainmaker Companies in his role as a coach to firm leaders and up-and-coming leaders. Throughout his personal and professional life, whether playing college basketball, running a construction company, or leading a church, Kent has had great coaches and mentors. This continuous support, coupled with the challenges and encouragement, led Ken to pursue coaching and mentoring in his professional life. This passion and experience have allowed Kent to successfully work and coach business professionals.
Kent brings a unique perspective to his role as an entrepreneur with business experience plus coaching credentials. He grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Northeastern State University with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, and Management. After graduation, he started a construction company specializing in insurance restoration and disaster recovery working with all major Insurance Carriers, which he owned until 2006. Kent received his master’s degree in 2000 and is married to his high school sweetheart, Lori, and they have five children, two Yorkies, a chihuahua, and a snake!
Kent has completed the John Maxwell Coaching Certification Program and is a Certified Facilitator of the DISC Profile and Patrick Lencioni’s Working Genius.
