As a Learning & Development Program Manager at The Rainmaker Companies, Melissa is dedicated to ensuring the seamless execution of the company’s training programs. She works closely with the team to oversee the setup and preparation of all program elements. Melissa’s goal is to ensure that every detail is meticulously managed, from formatting course materials to coordinating all logistical aspects of the training sessions, delivering a flawless experience for all clients.
Before joining The Rainmaker Companies, Melissa managed full training programs at a nonprofit association, handling everything from sales and setup to reporting and member support. Her experience extends to office management roles in both construction and education tutoring, where she coordinated operations and provided exceptional service. Throughout her career, Melissa has developed a strong ability to manage complex details, build client relationships, and ensure the smooth execution of programs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Webster University, which has provided a strong foundation for her work in learning and development.
Outside of work, Melissa is a proud mom of two vibrant daughters who keep life exciting with their unique personalities. Her oldest, Lacey, loves all things ‘kittycorn princess,’ while her youngest, Zoë, would rather ride dragons or pet dinosaurs. The family includes a beloved group of pets: three cats—Faith, a nurturing “momma cat” with a wise and gentle nature; and the inseparable duo, Princess Hayden and Midnight, a pair of playful young cats who bring constant energy and companionship to the household. Bringing balance to the feline frenzy is Penny, a patient German Shepherd-Lab mix who tolerates them all with quiet, good-natured resignation.
