Vickie Austin is a woman on a mission, committed to helping people and their companies by offering coaching, training and consulting around the globe. In 2015 she joined The Rainmaker Companies team, contributing her expertise in professional services marketing to clients and colleagues who are equally committed to helping their clients flourish and grow.
A lifelong learner, Vickie loves to share her knowledge of marketing and strategic planning with clients who are up to big things. She’s a professional speaker and past president of the National Speakers Association of Illinois. Her local cable talk show, “Talk About Choices,” features people who love what they do and do what they love. Vickie is also a writer—she has written for The Wall Street Journal’s career publications, the Daily Herald Business Ledger and guest chapters for Adventures in Healthcare and the National Speakers Association’s book, Speak Up!. She’s the author of Circles of Gold: Honoring Your Network for Business and Career Success.
A magna cum laude graduate of Arizona State University, Vickie received an executive master’s degree in international management (EMIM) from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Vickie and her husband Bill, an artist, live in the Chicago area and have two grown children.
